Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) in New York seeks an Associate Producer to join its small artistic team, delivering a dynamic season of theatre, dance, music and opera. The role provides administrative, creative, and logistical support to the Director of Producing and Producers.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years producing experience across performing arts, a strong interest in nonprofit work, exceptional communication, and a collaborative, detail‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of producing experience across performing arts, including theatre, dance, opera and/or music.
• A strong interest in nonprofit theater, producing, and artistic development.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with experience working with diverse artists and collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, creative, and logistical support to the Director of Producing and Producers across current and upcoming productions and programs.
• Coordinate calendars, meetings, and communication between the Producing department and other PAC NYC departments.
• Conduct research and prepare materials related to prospective productions, artists, partnerships, and special projects.
• Support the planning and execution of developmental readings, workshops, rehearsals, residencies, and performances.
• In concert with General Management, assist with budget tracking and other production-related financial administration.
• Attend and support production meetings, rehearsals, and other project activities as needed; provide observations and follow-up to the Director of Producing and Producers.
