Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically requires three year of related experience in a manufacturing production environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine to complex assembly or subassembly using machinery or tools to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products.
• Sets up, maintains and/or calibrates equipment and monitors machinery to support repairs as needed.
• Thoroughly checks products for conformance to specifications; may perform testing, quality inspections and rework as needed.
• Identify and inform management on issues related to quality, production, and safety; suggest process improvements.
• Manage parts bin quantities and notify when stock is low to maintain production flow.
• Document actions by completing required production and quality forms.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following procedures.
• Collaborate with team to streamline process flow and reduce waste.
• Promote safety policies, workmanship standards and procedures among team members; uphold quality consciousness.
• Provide guidance to less experienced employees and act as information resource.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
