Job summary

Johnson Outdoors Inc. is seeking a Production Associate II in Minnesota to perform routine to moderately complex assembly and subassembly using machinery and tools, ensuring quality and on-time output.

You will set up and calibrate equipment, inspect finished goods, and participate with the team to streamline production, maintain safety, and meet daily targets. Requires a high school diploma and at least one year in manufacturing; pay is $19.50/hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates broad understanding of production processes.
• Ability to be flexible and perform a variety of tasks in production.
• Ability to read and follow written documentation in English.
• Basic math and computer literacy for production tasks.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and operate machinery in variable temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to moderately complex assembly or subassembly on assigned products using machinery and/or tools; maintain output.
• Set up, maintain, and calibrate equipment; monitor machinery and report repairs.
• Inspect products to ensure conformance to specifications; rework as needed.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team to streamline process flow and reduce waste.
• Promote quality workmanship and safety policies among team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
