Bechtel is seeking a Lead Process Engineer in Houston to lead utility system design for data center projects from concept through EPC execution. You will plan, design, and review cooling water, water treatment, fuel systems, compressed air, drainage, and other mechanical utilities while ensuring compliance with codes and client criteria.

This role requires 8–14 years of data center EPC experience, Chartered/PE license or willingness to obtain, and strong leadership skills to manage

Qualifications

• Experience executing data center or mission-critical EPC utility engineering.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, data center design practices, client criteria, and codes (ASME/NFPA).
• Experience supervising process or utility engineering teams within a large EPC organization.

Responsabilités

• Leads and mentors process engineers and designers to deliver data center utilities within scope, budget, schedule and safety requirements.
• Applies engineering principles to cooling, water, fuel, compression, drainage, and related utilities.
• Represents process engineering in meetings, presenting system design, capacity and operating philosophy.
