Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors seeks a Mid-Level Process Engineering Lead in Beaumont to supervise a team of engineers and designers. You will deliver process engineering on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards, while promoting a strong safety culture across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include developing design criteria, coordinating with other disciplines, estimating professional services, and maintaining project controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of industrial experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Professional Engineering registration or CPIP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of process safety and its integration into design.
• Experience with process simulations and related software.
• Ability to train others in safety and site requirements.
• Ability to estimate, schedule, and develop detailed engineering scopes.
• Proficiency in CAD drafting standards and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical direction to a team of engineers and designers.
• Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of process engineering deliverables.
• Develop design criteria, scope, and performance standards for major projects.
• Prepare professional service estimates and monitor changes as projects progress.
• Lead multi-discipline coordination and inter-disciplinary alignment.
• Review vendor data, develop bid packages, and support procurement.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and participate in client presentations.
