Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Lead Engineer in Atlanta, GA. This role oversees a team of engineers and process designers, delivering complex process engineering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university is required.
Professional Engineering registration or CPIP certification is highly preferred.
10 to 15 years of relevant industrial experience in chemical, petroleum, or biochemical process design engineering.
Ability to train others in process safety as well as site safety requirements.
Willing to travel as required for client presentations and project site meetings.

Responsibilities

Supervise and provide technical direction to a team of engineers and process engineering designers as Lead Engineer.
Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of process engineering deliverables and services with quality.
Review and approve process engineering deliverables and validate professional service estimates.
Develop design criteria, cost studies, and conceptual layouts for major capital projects.
Lead cross-disciplinary coordination to ensure alignment across disciplines and with clients.
Produce bid packages for procurement and participate in business development activities.
