Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Lead Engineer to supervise a team of engineers and process designers on major capital projects in Houston. You will drive the total delivery of process engineering work, ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance while coordinating with clients and internal disciplines.

Responsibilities include developing design criteria, reviewing vendor data, and providing technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university.
• Registration: PE or CPIP is highly preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant industrial experience in chemical, petroleum, or biochemical process design.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical direction over a team of engineers and process engineering designers.
• Deliver process engineering deliverables on time, within budget, and meeting quality expectations.
• Review and approve process engineering deliverables and estimates; manage scope, schedule, and costs.
• Develop design criteria, conceptual layouts, and cost studies for major capital projects.
• Collaborate with design leaders and other disciplines to ensure inter-disciplinary alignment.
