Job summary

Kimberly-Clark in Ogden, UT, is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to lead design, development, optimization and operation of assigned assets and supporting processes, driving safety and performance. You will manage medium-to-large initiatives, identify cost savings and mentor others in engineering principles and LEAN methods.

You'll collaborate with maintenance on reliability projects and participate in trial planning, with on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering or Paper Science.
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial experience in high-speed consumer product manufacturing.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team to complete projects on time.
  • Experience with manufacturing analysis tools including SPC, DOE, and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver equipment and processes meeting safety requirements.
  • Manage medium-to-large initiatives to improve asset performance.
  • Identify cost savings opportunities and manage asset budgets.
  • Lead application of LEAN principles and project management.
  • Support maintenance during troubleshooting and asset issues.
  • Lead safety work teams and collaborate on reliability projects.
  • Participate in training plans and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Provide input to capital plans and design/installation oversight.
