Job summary

Kimberly-Clark Owensboro, KY, is seeking a Process Engineer to lead design, development, optimization and operation of manufacturing processes. You will apply engineering principles to improve safety, quality and efficiency while guiding teams across staff and plant environments.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree with 3+ years of experience, preferably in tissue/paper, and are proficient with SPC, DOE and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or relevant discipline; 3+ years in technical or operational roles.
  • Experience in mill and staff environments; tissue/paper knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency with SPC, DOE, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead one or more product/process improvement projects up to $10 million from concept to commercialization.
  • Provide functional leadership for design, development and optimization of manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Develop expertise and mentor others in engineering principles and project management.
  • Ensure safety, compliance with codes, and wellbeing of technicians and personnel.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives on schedule.
