Job summary
Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Process Control/Automation Engineer for our Columbia Falls MDF facility in Montana. The role involves mentoring electrical staff, troubleshooting issues, and leading safety- and reliability-focused projects.
You will report to the Process Control Manager and work closely with maintenance teams to drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years of PLC/HMI experience, with proficiency in Allen Bradley/Rockwell systems,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
- 5+ years in PLC programming (Allen Bradley/Rockwell).
- Proficient in HMI programming and industrial controls.
Responsibilities
- Mentor electrical staff and train technicians with emphasis on safety.
- Troubleshoot issues and drive root-cause corrective actions.
- Plan, develop and manage projects to improve safety and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to implement electrical, power and controls upgrades.
