Job summary

You will ensure safety, compliance with ISO and stay current with automation technologies while collaborating with engineering and operations teams to optimize plant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Process Control and Systems Engineering in chemical environments.
• Strong knowledge of SPC, DOE, RCA, and variable process control.
• Reading blueprints and PID drawings and applying safety practices.
• Ability to follow English instructions and work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, document, and troubleshoot DCS and PLC control logic.
• Develop process control design packages following engineering guidelines.
• Create/update control system documentation like interlock matrices and I/O mapping.
• Mentor entry-level Process Control Technicians.
• Provide technical leadership to maintain automation standards and systems.
• Support engineering teams with technical guidance and problem solving.
• Stay current with automation hardware/software, process controls, and networking.
• Analyze existing DCS/PLC configurations and recommend improvements.
