The role emphasizes hands-on development with Appian/Pega/Camunda and deep collaboration across business units, architecture, and technology teams in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, process automation, or solution delivery.
• Led engineering or automation teams and still writes or reviews code.
• Built workflow automation on low-code/orchestration platforms (Appian, Pega, Camunda) with integrations.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in regulated environments; understands controls and matrixed orgs.
• Appian experience; bonus if familiar with ARIS/architecture repositories like Ardoq.

Responsibilities

• Run the team: mentor automation developers and set technical direction.
• Review designs and code; enforce engineering standards.
• Build automation in Appian or equivalent; stay hands-on where it matters.
• Identify manual, high-friction workflows to automate and improve.
• Ensure solutions meet security, resilience, and maintainability standards.
• Collaborate across product, platform, service, and delivery teams.
