Job summary

Gildan is seeking a senior leader to manage its Printwear Distribution Center, directing leadership, driving performance, and collaborating with Customer Service & Logistics to ensure steady product flow and timely shipments. The role requires managing budgets, implementing standardized processes, and guiding automation initiatives across a dynamic operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Operations Management preferred.
• 10–15 years warehousing or distribution experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of high-volume distribution operations and systems — WMS/WES, order management, labor management, transportation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong data literacy for dashboards and analytics.
• Experience leading a large hourly and salaried workforce under OSHA and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops budgets for assigned facilities in support of Printwear’s Plans and Sales Forecasts.
• Promotes a culture of Customer Service Excellence and builds customer relationships through site visits and events.
• Ensures safe and compliant operations in all facilities, adhering to laws and CSR objectives.
• Communicates goals and collaborates with HR to ensure compliant hiring and evaluations.
• Leads technology and automation initiatives; plans and pilots WMS/WES enhancements and integrations.
• Plans for a variable sales tempo, builds flexible labor models, and optimizes staffing to meet demand while controlling costs.
• Responds to disruptions, resets priorities, and reallocates resources to protect commitments.
• Simplifies complex topics for audiences from floor staff to executives to drive alignment and change.
• Reviews monthly KPIs and cost effectiveness to guide decisions and improve performance.
