Job summary

Gildan, a leading apparel manufacturer with a broad brand portfolio, seeks a Manager I, Distribution/Warehouse (2nd shift) to oversee DC and manufacturing activities, drive safe, efficient operations, and KPI achievement across the shift.

You will lead a hands-on team, prioritize workflow to meet SLAs, implement Lean improvements, manage timesheets and staffing, and collaborate with other departments to ensure end-to-end process excellence in a dynamic distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level supervisory role; no prior experience required
• 2 years of leadership or comparable work experience including budgeting or productivity metrics

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritizes workflow to meet SLA safety, quality, and productivity.
• Interviewing, selection, onboarding, training, motivating, and performance management of shift team members.
• Drive Lean-based process improvements and cross-train staff.
• Lead and oversee shift team to maintain performance and morale while managing change.
• Review timesheets, incentives, attendance, and staffing schedules.
• Produce shift reports and adjust workload to meet capacity and demand.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure end-to-end workflow.
