SharkNinja seeks a talented Principal UX Designer to lead the UX for our hardware products. You will shape end-to-end experiences, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with Industrial Design, Product Development, and Engineering to deliver high-impact products.
The role requires a strong portfolio and a deep understanding of consumer product design across hardware and software, with a track record of shipping successful, user-centered solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Industrial Design, or a related subject.
- 10+ years of experience in consumer product design across hardware and software.
- A rich portfolio of professional work demonstrating both design and business outcomes.
- Experience mentoring junior designers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the UX design and development of new hardware products and experiences.
- Drive product experiences that combine ease of use, high-quality design craft, and moments of delight — delivering the absolute best value for the consumer at the price point.
- Collaborate across the org, partnering closely with UX, Industrial Design, CMF, Product Development, Project Management, AD, and Consumer Insights.
- Own deliverables end to end, from concept exploration to detailed specs across hardware and software.
