SharkNinja, headquartered in Needham, MA, is seeking a Manager, Mechanical Design - NPD to lead the front-end of our Motorized product roadmap. You will collaborate with engineering, PD, ID, Brand, and Test Kitchen teams across the US, UK, and China to turn concepts into credible, buildable solutions.

Responsibilities include owning the roadmap front-end, driving rapid prototyping, and mentoring junior team members while maintaining a consumer-centric focus throughout development.

Qualifications

• Degree-level technical qualification in engineering or design.

Responsibilities

• Own the front-end motorized roadmap and drive feasibility with engineering and PD/ID/Brand/Test Kitchen teams.
• Lead fast-fail iterations and develop POC rigs for validation.
• Build and test prototypes, report findings with clear next steps.
• Create sketches, CAD layouts, 3D models, and working prototypes for evaluation.
• Conduct design and engineering studies with user-centric focus.
• Collaborate with global teams to keep consumer needs central.
• Mentor junior teammates and foster a collaborative culture.
• Balance multiple workflows against fast-paced deadlines.
