Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Principal to lead site investigation and remediation efforts in the U.S. This senior role focuses on environmental consulting, business development, and building client relationships in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.

You will guide projects from inception through completion, ensuring regulatory compliance, project quality, and profitability while mentoring the next generation of leaders within Ramboll's Environment and Health team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Chemical) or science field (Geology/Earth Science) preferred.
• 15+ years in environmental consulting focusing on site investigation and remediation.
• Successful track record of business development.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue business development and client relationships.
• Manage projects, clients, staff, and regulatory relations.
• Interpret project needs and regulations; communicate findings.
• Lead project delivery including site visits and senior review of deliverables.
• Model health, safety, and security best practices for the team.
