Job summary

Learning Care is seeking a Lead Teacher to create engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for preschoolers, while mentoring fellow teachers and maintaining licensed classroom practices.

As part of a 5-day workweek, you will lead classroom activities, promote growth across social, physical, and cognitive domains, and build strong relationships with families for student success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center rules.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and actively engage with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Care for preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to promote child achievement and center success.
