Job summary

Learning Care is hiring a Lead Teacher to lead engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in a preschool classroom. You will mentor fellow teachers, manage classroom routines, and implement curriculum in alignment with licensing guidelines.

You will build relationships with families to support each child’s growth and the overall success of the center. This is a hands-on role focusing on care, education, and positive learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
