Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Sunnyvale is seeking a Sr Principal Power Hardware Engineer to lead power architecture across multiple platforms. This onsite role focuses on high-voltage, liquid-cooled power systems and cutting-edge circuit design.

You will mentor engineers, drive technology development, and ensure designs meet global standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable power solutions for networking and data center products.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of power design engineering experience.
• BS EE required; MS EE preferred.
• Experience with liquid-cooled power systems and high-voltage architectures.
• Strong CAD/EDA, SPICE, and PCB layout experience.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Establishes architecture and methodologies for power hardware design across multiple platforms.
• Reviews designs for compliance with guidelines and standards.
• Lead assigned Board Mount Power and Front-End Power projects through design, validation, and manufacturing release.
• Drive technology development and standardization within Power Systems Development.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and contribute to the technical community.
• Provide guidance for power hardware development across the organization.
