Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Senior Hardware Power Engineer to design, analyze, and validate power delivery for hardware systems. The role requires on-site presence in Sunnyvale three or more days per week and leadership responsibilities within the Power Systems Development team. Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in power design engineering with a B.S.

in Electrical Engineering (M.S. preferred), strong SPICE skills, and experience with Cadence Sigrity PowerDC and PCB layout tools.

Qualifications

• 6+ years related Power Design Engineering experience, with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering degree minimum, Masters preferred.
• Experience with schematic capture and simulation tools (including SPICE) essential
• Practical background with multilayer PCB Layout tools and techniques
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as Cadence Sigrity PowerDC is a plus
• Knowledge of I2C/PMBus interfaces and firmware design desirable.
• Role does require being on-site in Sunnyvale 3+ days a week, potentially more to meet business needs.

Responsabilités

• Define and develop power circuitry and components for hardware systems.
• Lead design reviews, simulations, and validation activities for power delivery subsystems.
• Coordinate with PCB/Layout teams to ensure manufacturability and thermal performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technology initiatives within Power Engineering.
• Prepare and present test plans, results, and documentation; support manufacturing.
