Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Sunnyvale, CA is looking for a Senior Hardware Power Engineer to design, analyze, and validate power delivery solutions for our networking hardware.

This on-site role focuses on leading power design activities, coordinating with PCB/layout teams, and mentoring junior engineers while driving new technology initiatives.

You'll work with Cadence tools, SPICE, and I2C/PMBus interfaces, with 6+ years of experience and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of power design engineering experience with a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with schematic capture and SPICE.
• Practical background with multilayer PCB layout tools.
• Familiarity with Cadence Sigrity PowerDC is a plus.
• Knowledge of I2C/PMBus interfaces and firmware design is desirable.
• On-site in Sunnyvale 3+ days a week.

Responsibilities

• Define design requirements and select critical power components.
• Coordinate with Board Level and PCB Layout engineers; perform testing.
• Lead system-level conceptualization and module specifications for power.
• Prepare and review test plans; supervise tests and peer reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive new technology initiatives.
