Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Principal Power Hardware Engineer to design and validate high‑voltage power systems in Sunnyvale. The role emphasizes architecture development, multi‑platform coordination, and mentoring teams.

This onsite position requires a deep background in power electronics and hardware design across networking/data center products. You will drive technology development, review designs for compliance, and lead critical power projects from concept through to

Qualificações

12+ years related Power Design Engineering experience with BSEE minimum.
Experience with liquid-cooled power systems and high-voltage architectures (±400 VDC/800 VDC).
Solid experience with schematic capture and simulation tools (including SPICE).
Familiarity with multilayer PCB Layout tools and power CAD tools; I2C/PMBus interfaces; firmware design is desirable.

Responsabilidades

Define organization-wide architecture and methodologies for power hardware design across multiple platforms.
Evaluate and recommend emerging power technologies and partnerships.
Review designs for compliance with guidelines and standards.
Lead architecture process and mentor less-experienced team members.
Lead Board Mount Power and Front-End Power projects through design to manufacturing release.
