Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
8+ years in system design, architecture, testing, or integration of energy technologies.
Strong knowledge of renewable energy systems including solar, wind, power conversion and energy storage.
Experience with modeling for system design.

Responsibilities

Characterize, benchmark, and define requirements for design and testing of proof‑of‑concept prototypes and components.
Define size, performance, efficiency, cost, and requirements for DER and microgrid components and technologies.
Develop and maintain documentation on specifications and simulation analyses.
Collaborate with systems simulation and FEA/CFD engineers to communicate targets and boundary conditions.
