Job summary

Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) in Menasha, WI seeks a Lead Engineer, R&D Power Electronics to join our Product Engineering team. You will lead design, development, and testing of DER and power distribution systems onsite, shaping roadmaps and collaborating across disciplines.

The role requires 8+ years in energy tech, strong modeling skills, and a track record of leading renewable energy projects. Expect close collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required or equivalent.
8+ years of experience in system design, architecture, testing, or integration of energy technologies.
Strong understanding of renewable energy systems and energy storage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and grid integration is preferred.
Proven track record leading projects in renewable energy is preferred.
Experience with performance modeling and simulation tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

Characterize, benchmark, and define requirements for prototypes and components.
Analyze size, performance, efficiency, cost, and requirements for DER, power distribution, EV charging, and data center applications.
Develop and maintain documentation on specifications and simulations.
Collaborate with systems simulation and engineering teams to align targets.
Lead evaluation and benchmarking of new technologies.
Work with controls software engineers on energy management system targets.
Collaborate on power electronics design, thermal management, and packaging/manufacturing.
Coordinate with Verification & Validation on DVP&Rs for battery energy storage testing.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
