Entergy invites applications for a Senior Manager, Power Development, a hybrid role located in The Woodlands, TX or New Orleans, LA. You will lead front-end loading for utility-scale renewable and hydrogen projects, steering cross-functional teams and coordinating with Entergy and external partners to deliver value, safety, and quality.

Strong leadership, strategic planning, and regulatory collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• At least 10 years’ experience in capital projects development and management; Power generation project development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a powerful project development team focused on delivering power generation and storage projects to meet sustainability commitments.
• Manages development of project vision and execution philosophy through Stage Gate Process.
• Negotiates contracts and supports future plans for construction of natural gas fueled power stations to deliver sustainability goals.
• Builds key stakeholder relationships and provides timely status reports to management.
• Ensures safe, high-quality execution with cost and schedule certainty; leads contract negotiations as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related field

Advanced degree preferred
