Job summary

Vertical Mechanical Group operates as a leading HVAC and Plumbing contractor, seeking a Plumbing Superintendent to lead plumbing operations on commercial construction projects. You will direct crews, coordinate with project teams and other trades, and ensure work progresses safely and on schedule.

The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of plumbing supervision on commercial sites, strong knowledge of codes, and the ability to read plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of plumbing supervision or management on commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, installation methods, and codes
• Proven ability to lead crews and coordinate across trades
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience planning manpower, materials, and activities to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plumbing crews, including mechanics and apprentices
• Plan daily work to meet project schedules and milestones
• Oversee plumbing installations from rough-in through testing and completion
• Coordinate with project managers, GC and other trades
• Mentor crew members and ensure safety and quality standards
