Job summary

IMEG is hiring a Plumbing Project Designer in Seattle, WA to lead design efforts as a project manager or lead designer for moderate complexity projects and collaborate with senior staff on the delivery of larger, high complexity projects.

You will contribute to engineering analysis and design of plumbing and fire protection systems, while supporting planning, budgeting, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration with a broad MEP team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in building design consulting (preferred 6).
• 9+ years of experience in building design or construction (preferred 10).

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing and fire protection design for moderate-complexity projects.
• Perform engineering analysis, development of designs, specs, and calculations.
• Partner with clients to understand project needs and build relationships.
