Job summary

IMEG in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Plumbing Project Designer to design plumbing systems for low- to moderate-complexity buildings. You will collaborate with engineers and mentors, support budgets, and help deliver practical client-focused solutions.

The role emphasizes code-compliant design, use of BIM and engineering software, and cross-functional teamwork in a national engineering firm with strong employee ownership. Las Vegas location emphasizes local market delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• EIT certification preferred; ASPE Plumbing Design is preferred.
• Associates degree or certificate in BIM/Engineering preferred.
• 7–8 years of experience in building design consulting or construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Create detailed designs, specs, and calculations per codes and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and maintain relationships.
• Support budgeting, scheduling, and project execution to meet deadlines.
• Document decisions, instructions, and progress; perform in-process design reviews.
