Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in a plumbing role.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations and best practices.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodeling, repairs and maintenance.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications for layouts.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment and labor costs for projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and team members on requirements and timelines.
• Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, drains and water heaters.
• Cut, thread and bend pipes using advanced tools; weld or join pipes as needed.
• Inspect systems to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers for materials and equipment; keep records of work and progress.
