Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a highly skilled Plumber to lead plumbing projects, install, repair and maintain systems, and ensure code compliance at client sites in Fairfax, VA. The role emphasizes advanced installations, troubleshooting, and leadership of junior plumbers.

You will interpret blueprints, estimate materials and labor, collaborate with clients and contractors, and contribute to ongoing training through our academy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Plumber, 2+ years.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Extensive experience interpreting and analyzing blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan layouts and installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to discuss project requirements and timelines.
• Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Weld, solder, or join pipes using approved methods.
• Conduct inspections to identify and diagnose issues and provide solutions.
• Keep records of work performed and progress; coordinate with suppliers.
