Job summary
Service Experts is seeking a skilled Plumber II to lead plumbing projects, perform advanced installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems at our Fairfax location. The role requires strong knowledge of codes, problem-solving abilities, and leadership experience.
Based in Fairfax, VA, you will supervise junior plumbers, collaborate with clients, and ensure projects meet safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years as a plumber.
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Experience interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodels, repairs, and maintenance.
- Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan layouts.
- Ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
- Estimate materials and labor costs.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Supervise junior plumbers and apprentices.
- Train and mentor junior staff.
- Maintain accurate records of work and progress.
- Stay updated with industry trends.
