Service Experts is seeking a skilled Plumber II to lead plumbing projects, perform advanced installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems at our Gaithersburg, MD location.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of plumbing codes, strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to supervise junior plumbers and trainees. This full-time role offers competitive pay and comprehensive company benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience as a Plumber or similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodeling, repairs and maintenance.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan layouts and installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment and labor costs for projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and team members on requirements and timelines.
• Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains and water heaters.
• Weld, solder or join pipes using approved methods.
• Inspect systems to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials and equipment.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and progress.
