Job summary

The Sterling Choice seeks an engineer to own PLC control development for major municipal water projects in South Georgia. You’ll manage the full lifecycle from narrative through programming, integration, testing, startup and final commissioning.

Work across Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Siemens and Emerson platforms with travel ~35%. Comprehensive benefits and leadership development are provided as part of a large infrastructure platform.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs and PLC programming in industrial automation.
• Familiarity with HMI/SCADA concepts is a plus.
• Ability to work across multiple PLC platforms (AB, Schneider, Siemens, Emerson).

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC monitoring and control applications for water infrastructure projects.
• Integrate equipment with third-party systems and support FAT/SAT.
• Conduct field startup, commissioning, and customer training; troubleshoot with field engineers.
