This hands-on technical leader will oversee design, programming, and commissioning from concept through startup, ensuring high-quality execution and on-site collaboration. The role requires expertise in PLC/HMI programming, AutoCAD Electrical, and NEC/UL508 compliance, with a focus on delivering reliable control systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on controls engineering experience in industrial settings.
• Strong PLC/HMI programming and electrical controls design background.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of electrical controls and automation systems.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Use AutoCAD Electrical to develop schematics and panel layouts.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers, designers, and technicians.
• Support panel design, integration, testing, and startup activities.
• Collaborate with project managers and customers to ensure project success.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues during installation and operation.
• Ensure NEC, UL508, and industry standard compliance.
• Assist with system optimization and continuous improvement.
• Support customer training and post-installation technical support.
