This hands-on technical leader will oversee design, programming, and commissioning from concept through startup, ensuring high-quality execution and on-site collaboration. The role requires expertise in PLC/HMI programming, AutoCAD Electrical, and NEC/UL508 compliance, with a focus on delivering reliable control systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on controls engineering experience in industrial settings.
- Strong PLC/HMI programming and electrical controls design background.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and implementation of electrical controls and automation systems.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
- Use AutoCAD Electrical to develop schematics and panel layouts.
- Provide technical leadership to engineers, designers, and technicians.
- Support panel design, integration, testing, and startup activities.
- Collaborate with project managers and customers to ensure project success.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues during installation and operation.
- Ensure NEC, UL508, and industry standard compliance.
- Assist with system optimization and continuous improvement.
- Support customer training and post-installation technical support.
