Job summary

AMD in Austin, TX or Denver, CO seeks a Senior Platform Hardware Design Engineer to lead AI-acceleration hardware development from concept through mass production. You will coordinate power, mechanical, firmware, and validation teams to deliver high-quality boards on tight schedules.

Candidates should have strong board/system design experience, experience with Cadence tools, and a track record of delivering complex hardware for data center products.

Qualifications

• BOM management skills.
• Strong board hardware and system design experience.
• Ability to write product specifications.
• Experience with high-speed mixed-signal design techniques.
• Familiar with USB, PCI Express, memory interfaces and SPI/JTAG.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware development from concept to production.
• Collaborate across power, mechanical, firmware and validation teams.
• Define product requirements and architecture with SOC teams.
• Publish design documentation for stakeholders.
