Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer for its Datacenter Accelerated Computing group in Austin, TX. You will join a cross-functional team focused on manufacturing test solutions, automation, validation, and program management to deliver leading datacenter GPUs used in AI, ML, and HPC applications.

You’ll work at a manufacturing site, develop test strategies, debug complex issues, and contribute to automated diagnostic tooling while coordinating with multiple engineering functions

Qualifications

BS degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering (MS preferred).
3+ years in board or system products manufacturing test.
Experience with automated test equipment and diagnostics.
Experience with Linux and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

Develop test strategy for new product features and test fixtures.
Review DFT in early design stages and provide feedback.
Debug hardware and software issues during builds.
Contribute to automated diagnostics and validation infrastructure.
Define manufacturing hardware test solutions across product segments.
Support Python-based test content and tooling.
