Job summary

AMD is seeking a Product Development Engineer in Austin to help deliver next‑generation datacenter platforms, including CPU- and GPU‑based systems powering AI and HPC workloads. You will collaborate with silicon, firmware, software, validation, manufacturing, and operations teams to bring devices from bring‑up through production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support bring‑up, validation, debug, and deployment of datacenter platforms and rack‑scale systems.
  • Develop and execute system‑level test strategies for functionality and reliability.
  • Investigate and resolve hardware, firmware, and software issues across subsystems.
  • Analyze yield and failure data to drive root‑cause and corrective actions.
  • Develop manufacturing diagnostics and automated validation infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve quality and readiness.
