Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Platform Hardware Design Engineer to lead the development of state-of-the-art AI acceleration hardware. The role focuses on board-level design, power integrity, and multi-disciplinary collaboration across power, mechanical, firmware, and testing teams.

You will drive from inception to mass production, managing validation, bring-up, and architectural decisions for high-performance data-center products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading hardware development from concept to production.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed interfaces (USB, PCIe) and board design.

Responsibilities

• Lead system and hardware development for AI acceleration-based systems from concept to production.
• Collaborate with power, mechanical, firmware, and PCB teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
• Drive validation, bring-up, and debugging for cost- and performance-optimized boards.
