General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Lead Platform Engineer to lead a Software Factory for the US Space Force. You will architect and operate Azure Cloud and Kubernetes environments, deploy DevSecOps tools, and drive automation via IaC pipelines.

You will supervise DevSecOps teams, ensure security requirements, and guide modernization while collaborating with customer teams and stakeholders. U.S. citizenship and DoD clearance are required.

Competenze

• US Citizen with DoD clearance or ability to obtain TS.
• 10+ years in DevOps/Cloud and related practices.
• Experience with Linux and Linux-based OS.
• Experience with CI/CD, architecture and DevSecOps practices.
• Proficiency with Git and containerization for Kubernetes.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Mansioni

• Architect and sustain IaC build, test, and deployment pipelines.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters in Azure Cloud for lab and production.
• Configure Jira, Confluence, GitLab and DevSecOps tools across environments.
• Lead DevSecOps guidance and coach teams to higher performance.
• Direct sustainment: monitoring, patching, vulnerability response & remediation for clusters.
