Job summary

Thomson Reuters is building the platform powering CoCounsel's AI agent ecosystem. We seek a Lead Platform Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable backend and platform services in a microservices, cloud-native environment.

You will own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and progressive delivery, collaborating with Product, Applied AI, and Infrastructure teams, and you’ll mentor engineers while maintaining high reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building backend systems in production, with leadership exposure.
• Experience designing distributed systems and cloud-native apps.
• Strong API design skills and collaboration with product teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of backend/platform services for AI agent workflows.
• Own cloud infra, CI/CD, and progressive delivery using IaC.
• Improve reliability, observability, and performance across Kubernetes and AI runtimes.
• Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotations.
