Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Newark, NJ to lead the safe, compliant operation of a heavy industrial power-generation facility on an assigned shift. You will supervise boiler, turbine, and generation equipment, manage instrumentation and control systems, and coordinate operations with maintenance personnel.

The role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of supervisory experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Active New Jersey Operating Engineer or Boiler Operator license (Black/Blue/Red Seal or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with high-pressure boilers and electric-generating equipment.
• Knowledge of steam-generating power plant operations and control systems.
• Power-generation/resource-recovery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety policies and permits.
• Supervise operation of boilers, turbines, and generation equipment; monitor performance.
• Direct rounds, coordinate maintenance, and respond to emergencies.
• Approve clearances, lockout/tagout, and safety permits.
• Lead shift execution, inspections, and housekeeping; mentor staff.
