Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a seasoned construction supervisor to lead a team of craft professionals on a major project in New Albany, OH. The role focuses on directing craft activities, coordinating subcontract work, and ensuring productivity within schedule and budget constraints.

The ideal candidate will oversee planning, safety, and quality, work with engineers and foremen, and ensure compliance with Bechtel standards and procedures on a large-scale industrial build.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience; or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience managing union craft Heavy industrial US direct hire construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leadership / Supervision: Direct craft activities and supervise up to 50 craft workers.
• Planning / Productivity: Determine workforce requirements and coordinate area plans.
• Tools, Materials & Equipment: Monitor tool usage and ensure crafts have required tools.
• Safety & Quality: Ensure design documents are current and that work complies with specs, schedules and budgets.
• Technical: Interpret engineering design documents and oversee subcontractor and foremen activities.
