Job summary

Bechtel is hiring a senior craft superintendent for the New Albany,Ohio project. You will lead a team, supervise superintendents and craft professionals, direct activities, coordinate subcontract work, and ensure productivity while meeting policies, procedures, schedules and budgets.

The role emphasizes safety, ZERO Accident Philosophy, interfacing with safety and labor relations, and ensuring conformance to drawings and specs; requires degree and 8–14 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent with 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years without a degree.
• Extensive knowledge of construction planning, monitoring and control.
• Experience with union craft heavy industrial US direct hire construction.
• Strong safety knowledge and familiarity with OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of craft professionals and supervise superintendents on a project.
• Direct craft activities, schedules and coordinate subcontract work.
• Maintain tool availability and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and budgets.
• Support safety training and ZERO Accident Philosophy on site.
• Monitor conformance to drawings, specs and vendor requirements.
• Interface with labor relations for recruitment and training programs.
• Review time records and ensure proper resource allocation.
• Enforce field policies and Bechtel Core Processes.
