Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Physical Therapy Team Leader for a hands-on leadership role within a nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation provider. You will guide the therapy team, ensure policy and treatment adherence, and help drive excellent patient outcomes.

The position emphasizes scheduling, staff development, and collaboration across hospital departments, with opportunities for professional growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program; minimum three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments.
• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding relationships by understanding each patient’s physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
