Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive PT evaluations and treatments across ages, directing PTAs and staff. You will develop therapy plans, supervise staff, and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes while educating patients and families for self-care and home programs.

Successful candidates will hold an entry-level master's or doctoral PT degree, be licensed, and demonstrate competency in

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• Clinical Competency within 3 months and every 3 years.
• High Risk Competency within 3 months and every 3 years.
• Broad-based clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of musculoskeletal physiology and neuro system relevant to PT.

Responsibilities

• Provides general physical therapy evaluations and treatments to a wide range of ages.
• Develops and implements therapy plans of care and goals.
• Collaborates with care team to arrange equipment and discharge planning.
• Documents encounters, diagnoses, treatment plans and prognoses.
• Directs work of support staff, students or interns.
• Educates patients and families; creates home programs.
• Adheres to regulatory requirements and contributes to quality metrics.
