Job summary

SEARHC, a nonprofit health consortium in Southeast Alaska, seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to perform comprehensive PT evaluations and treatments for diverse ages. The role includes supervising PT Assistants, coordinating care with the health team, documenting plans, and educating patients to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.

Required are a Master's/Doctorate in Physical Therapy, current licensure, BLS, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Entry level master’s or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program or equivalent CE experience.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Clinical and High Risk Competencies must be achieved within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform PT evaluations and treatments for a wide range of ages and diagnoses.
• Develop and implement therapy plans of care with goals.
• Supervise and direct PT Assistants and staff as assigned.
• Collaborate with health care team to coordinate discharge plans.
• Document findings, plans, and prognoses per SEARHC policy.
• Provide patient education and home exercise programs.
