Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium in Alaska is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive PT evaluations and treatments across ages, develop and implement plans of care, and collaborate with the health care team to optimize patient outcomes.

You will document findings, supervise staff or interns, and deliver patient education with home exercise programs while maintaining regulatory standards and participating in care conferences.

Qualifications

• Entry-level master’s or doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist
• Valid Driver’s license
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Clinical Competency required within 3 months and subsequently every 3 years
• High Risk Competency required within 3 months and subsequently every 3 years

Responsibilities

• Provide PT evaluations and treatments to a wide range of ages with varying diagnoses
• Develop, implement, and adjust a therapy plan of care
• Collaborate with health care team to coordinate patient care
• Document encounters, treatment plans, and prognoses in SEARHC system
• Supervise or direct work of support staff, students, or interns
• Educate patients and families with clear home exercise programs
• Ensure timely delivery of services and regulatory compliance
• Participate in care conferences and multidisciplinary rounds
• Utilize hospital systems and email for information flow
