Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II Site Lead in Leesburg, VA, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with rotational weekends. The role includes directing daily activities at a Patient Service Center, drawing blood, preparing specimens, and mentoring staff while ensuring compliance with SOPs and safety guidelines.

The position emphasizes leadership in a clinical setting, high-quality patient care, and adherence to Quest Diagnostics policies.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience; flexible hours including weekends/holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and be able to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Direct daily activity at PSC/IOP and mentor on-site staff.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and safety protocols; assist with inventory and scheduling.
• Perform POC testing where needed and support SOP adherence.
• Communicate professionally with clients and document issues.
