Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist II Site Lead to collect specimens, lead daily PSC activities, and mentor staff while upholding QA and SOPs. This role requires a state phlebotomy license and involves patient interaction.

You will work Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with rotational weekends, and may travel to multiple sites. The position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• This position requires you to have a state phlebotomy license; CA does not accept NHA licenses.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric/geriatric.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and on‑call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Direct daily activity at a PSC or IOP and lead on-site PSR(s).
• Mentor and train new employees and ensure SOP compliance.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and safety procedures.
• Communicate with clients and relay critical information.
